AgentLayer Expands Global Reach With New Exchange Listings on Phemex, WhiteBit and CoinTR
AgentLayer, a Singapore-based decentralized AI Agent protocol, announced plans to expand its presence across European and Middle Eastern markets through new exchange listings and AI-focused products, marking a significant push into regulated cryptocurrency markets.
The company, co-founded by Nanyang Technological University professor Liu Yang, will list its $AGENT token on three major exchanges: Phemex in Europe, Turkey’s government-backed CoinTR, and WhiteBit, a European exchange that complies with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulations. These listings follow successful debuts on Gate.io, BingX, Bitrue and Germany’s Bitpanda, where the token saw $8 million in first-day trading volume.
The expansion comes amid growing interest in AI agent technology from industry leaders like NVIDIA. AgentLayer is positioning itself to capitalize on what executives see as a multi-trillion-dollar market opportunity. Prof. Liu, recently ranked among Stanford University’s top 2% of global scientists for his work in AI and cybersecurity, aims to establish AgentLayer as fundamental infrastructure for the AI agent economy.
“AgentLayer aims to promote the global development of the AI Agent economy through technological innovation and market expansion,” Liu said in the announcement.
The company’s core offerings include PumpAgent, which it calls the world’s first AI agent launching and trading launchpad, featuring an Initial Agent Offering (IAO) mechanism. Its second product, AgentStudio, provides developers with tools to create AI applications through a drag-and-drop interface, supporting multiple data types and programming languages.
AgentLayer has completed two token burns, reducing supply by over one million tokens. The protocol has gained recognition from cryptocurrency rating platform Cookie DAO and is listed on cookie.fun, an AI agent index platform.
The company’s European strategy aligns with the region’s implementation of comprehensive cryptocurrency regulations. With MiCA providing a unified regulatory framework, AgentLayer sees opportunity in Europe’s established financial infrastructure and emphasis on data sovereignty.
For investors, AgentLayer offers exposure to both AI and blockchain technologies through its token, which functions as a medium of exchange and includes incentive mechanisms such as token burns and liquidity pools.
This expansion represents a broader trend of cryptocurrency companies seeking growth in regulated markets while incorporating artificial intelligence capabilities. The success of AgentLayer’s strategy could indicate whether the merger of AI and blockchain technology gains traction among institutional investors and developers.
